The third practice test for this category is designed to be similar to the actual NCLEX-RN examination. It will assess your ability to intervene in situations that require critical thinking. To become an effective nurse, you must be able to think outside of the box and allow for new interventions to be available. The NCLEX-RN examination is designed to assess your ability to do this, and this practice test will help you see how you may do. You will be forced to think about new ways to approach a situation, especially concerning the pediatric population. Once you have finished this practice test, you will better understand how to advocate for your pediatric patients. You must learn how to be assertive when it comes to your patients, and it will be vital that you speak up when you feel something is wrong. For example, it may be that the child is not receiving the most effective treatment for their case.
