NCSBN introduces a new website for licensure candidates
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is the not-for-profit organization whose members include the nursing regulatory body in every state, the District of Columbia, and four U.S. territories, who are empowered to license and regulate nursing practice. Associate members are nursing regulatory bodies from around the world who are authorized to license and regulate nursing practice in their designated areas.
NCSBN is responsible for designing the NCLEX and keep it updated to correspond with current nursing practice for RNs and LPNs/LVNs. A thorough job analysis is done every three years, so the exam reflects the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be a successful entry-level nurse. NCSBN tracks passing rates and offers education for both candidates and educators. It spent more than ten years developing NCLEX-NGN; the new examination is based on robust research and analysis.
With the launch of the NCLEX-NGN, NCSBN created a website (www.NCLEX.com) with new resources to help you become familiar with the new version of the exam. Bookmark the site and use it to find the following:
New resources:

All nurses -- new or experienced -- are responsible for a significant share of analysis, judgments, and decisions made in client care. As an entry-level nurse, you’ll be expected to continue to learn and expand your critical thinking and judgment abilities. NCLEX-NGN is designed to ensure that you can provide safe and effective client care.
Nurse Plus wants to help you pass your NCLEX-NGN. We’re cheering for you as you begin your exciting career!
